Carol Thompson received her theater degree from the University of Wisconsin with a specialty in acting.
She has extensive experience in classical drama and comedy, as well as musical theater and light opera.
Some favorite roles include: Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing, Lady Macbeth in Macbeth, Vivien Leigh in Orson's Shadow, Constance in The Constant Wife, Elizabeth Proctor in The Crucible, Elvira in Blithe Spirit , Ariel in The Tempest, Olivia in Twelfth Night, Lady Chiltern in An Ideal Husband, and the delightfully despicable Lady Sneerwell in The School for Scandal.
Additional favorite roles include Maria in The Sound of Music, Eliza in My Fair Lady, Guinevere in Camelot, Cleopatra in Antony and Cleopatra, both Gwendolyn and Cecily in separate productions of The Importance of Being Earnest, and Agnes in A Delicate Balance. She has performed in twelve Gilbert & Sullivan operas with the Savoy Company of Philadelphia.
Carol has her Master's degree in Counseling Psychology.
